Job Description
As a Production Lead, you will support daily manufacturing operations by guiding production team members, ensuring workflow efficiency, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role serves as a key point of contact on the production floor, assisting with task coordination, training, and problem resolution to help meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support production employees to ensure daily output goals are met
- Assign tasks and monitor workflow to maintain efficiency and productivity
- Assist with training new hires and reinforcing standard operating procedures
- Monitor product quality and address basic production issues as they arise
- Communicate production updates, concerns, and results to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and consistent performance on the floor
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience as a Production Lead or senior production associate preferred
- Manufacturing or production environment experience required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds if required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
