Procurement Specialist | Long Term Project – Onsite | Omaha, NE | $65-70K
A large Omaha-based organization is adding a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing operations during a major system update project. This role will help ensure departments receive the supplies, equipment, and services they need while internal teams focus on a large ERP transition.
This is a long-term contract opportunity expected to run through the middle of 2028, offering stability and the chance to work inside a large, mission-driven organization, while being able to elect full time employee benefits.

Key responsibilities
• Process and review purchase requisitions from internal departments
• Work with vendors to obtain pricing and coordinate orders
• Assist with bid requests, quotes, and vendor evaluations
• Track purchase orders and resolve shipment or delivery issues
• Maintain vendor and purchasing records within the system

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Strong organizational and vendor communication skills
• ERP or purchasing system experience preferred (PeopleSoft a plus)
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
