Your New Role:
As the Procurement Specialist, you will support sourcing and procurement activities that directly impact product development and operational efficiency. You will partner with R&D, formulation, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure raw materials are sourced in a compliant, cost-effective, and timely manner. This role supports supplier evaluation, documentation management, and cost tracking related to raw materials and sourcing activities. You will maintain accurate data within ERP and PLM systems while supporting SKU rationalization and cost-savings initiatives. Your work will contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the sourcing and procurement function.
Job Duties:
- Support sourcing and evaluation of raw material suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance
- Coordinate with R&D and cross-functional teams to source materials aligned with formulation and project needs
- Maintain supplier, cost, MOQ, and lead-time data within ERP and PLM systems
- Collect, organize, and maintain regulatory documentation and certifications
- Conduct market research to identify alternative materials and sourcing opportunities
- Support SKU rationalization, cost-savings initiatives, and sourcing optimization efforts
- Assist with raw material, formula, and regulatory reviews
- Evaluate alternate chemical suppliers and maintain accurate sourcing files
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Chemistry, Engineering, or Biology preferred)
- Understanding of raw materials and ingredient sourcing
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements related to materials and claims
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and use ERP, PLM, and other business systems

The base salary range for this position is $50,000- $75,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
