Job Description
The Process Technician supports the manufacturing of high-quality products in a cleanroom environment. This role follows standard operating procedures with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. Responsibilities include operating equipment, completing work orders, and maintaining a continuous production flow. Attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures are essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including:
- Calibrating equipment
- Completing daily startup checks before operation
- Performing minor repairs
- Troubleshooting equipment programs and hardware
- Identifying root causes of process failures
- Program new automated equipment
- Modify existing programs, recipes, and configuration files
- Back up system programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Vocational certification or Associate’s degree required
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in assembly processes and equipment
- Basic computer skills for reporting daily activities
- Proficiency with hand tools (wrenches, hammers, socket sets, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
- 3+ years as an Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with soldering, microscopes, electro-mechanical tools, and measurement devices
- Familiarity with programming languages or automated machinery
