Job Description
Do you enjoy keeping things organized and ensuring everything is in the right place? We are seeking a dependable Inventory & Stock Clerk to support daily inventory operations in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory, supporting employee gowning processes, receiving and stocking supplies, and ensuring materials are readily available for daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in organization, enjoys working independently, and thrives in an environment where accuracy and attention to detail make a direct impact on the team's success.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily inventory levels of PPE, including gloves, masks, lab coats, shoe covers, and other cleanroom supplies.
- Restock gowning stations, PPE cabinets, and supply areas throughout the facility.
- Receive, inspect, label, and organize incoming inventory and supplies.
- Maintain inventory records, lot numbers, and expiration dates using FIFO inventory practices.
- Support weekly employee gowning and garment distribution.
- Scan, sort, and prepare used garments for third-party laundry services.
- Keep gowning rooms clean, organized, and audit-ready.
- Assist with inventory counts and supply replenishment.
- Report inventory shortages or discrepancies promptly.
- Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures while maintaining a neat work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
- One to two years of warehouse, inventory, stockroom, manufacturing, or materials handling experience preferred.
- Experience in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Previous experience with inventory tracking or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory scanning systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing required protective garments.
