Job Description
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading production through advanced manufacturing systems, processing, and quality & maintenance, to ensure that key accountabilities with the Operational Framework SQCDPE and associated Key Performance Indicators are met.
We are looking for individuals who have the flexibility to work varying shifts, as shift times and patterns can change based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and direct production operations, establishing priorities that support efficiency, customer service goals, and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate workforce, machines, and equipment to achieve optimal production output and resource utilization.
- Analyze production, quality, maintenance, and operational reports to identify root causes of issues and resolve manufacturing problems to reduce cost and prevent delays.
- Communicate shift performance and address operational issues, including safety, quality, equipment efficiency, personnel performance, schedule adherence, and material usage.
- Maintain compliance and readiness for regulatory, corporate, and customer inspections, ensuring GMP, SQF, and all safety requirements are met.
- Support employee performance and development by ensuring training compliance, maintaining positive employee relations, and administering disciplinary actions when needed.
- Oversee shift administration, including incident investigations, corrective actions, payroll documentation, and coordination with distribution for material and finished goods flow.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in leadership roles in CPG and/or food manufacturing.
- Technical knowledge of processing and packaging is an asset.
- Demonstrated track record of building and leading high functioning teams.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Occupational Health & Safety, People Leadership, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
- Ability to set direction through business acumen, strategic agility and dealing with ambiguity.

The base salary for this position is $100k+ excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
