Job Description
One of the premier Podiatry clinics is seeking a Medical Biller to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience billing claims from a superbill and posting payments accurately. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately bill claims using superbills
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Verify insurance information and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinic and insurance requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding claims and payments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior medical billing experience required (podiatry experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of billing from superbills and payment posting
- Knowledge of insurance processes and billing guidelines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Benefits and Perks:
