Job Description
Are you an eager Medical Assistant seeking a rewarding position in the Memorial City Area? Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team! Responsibilities:
- Record patients’ medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and the physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- One year of Medical Assistant experience within a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine clinic is required.
- Previous experience with using EMR software is required.
- Must have completed a Medical Assistant certificate/diploma through an accredited Medical Assistant program.
