Job Description
- Join an established Engineering team supporting a growing metal manufacturing operation in Dallas
- This role is heavily design-focused (approximately 60%) and supports multiple projects from concept through prototype and fabrication
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and project leaders to deliver high-quality product designs and improvements
- Contribute to a succession plan within the engineering group, supporting knowledge transfer and long-term continuity
Responsibilities
- Participate in the creative process to develop overall product design concepts
- Utilize internal and external resources to design (60%) and fabricate product components
- Oversee detailed design and detailing of prototype components
- Participate in defining new test protocols and methods
- Lead and/or participate in design reviews and collaborate with the design team
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- SolidWorks design experience (required)
- Approximately 10 years of mechanical engineering experience preferred
- Sheet metal manufacturing/engineering experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work fully onsite in Dallas, TX (75247)
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating closely with operations

The base salary range for this position is $105K-$115K excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
