Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Supply / Material Clerk to support hospital operations by ensuring timely distribution and organization of medical supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient patient care by keeping departments stocked and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, stock, and distribute medical and non-medical supplies throughout the hospital
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed
- Track supply usage and report shortages or discrepancies
- Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hospital standards
- Deliver supplies to various departments in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with inventory counts and supply audits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Supply Clerk or Material Clerk in a hospital setting (required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
