Job Description
We are seeking a Material Loader to join a busy warehouse team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will support the safe and efficient movement of materials, assist with loading operations, and help maintain a clean and organized work area. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to handle physical job duties, and experience working around industrial equipment. Candidates who are dependable, proactive, and safety-minded will be successful in this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment to push material onto the belt and create bales
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials for shipment
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Maintain a clean loading area and keep the belt free from debris
- Assist with daily belt and baler maintenance while following all safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in general labor, construction, warehouse, or related fields preferred
- Familiarity with tractors, front-end loaders, forklifts, or other industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to handle a physical workload and work in an active warehouse environment
- Strong work ethic with the ability to be proactive and safety-focused
- Previous experience in warehouse, heavy equipment operation, forklift, and load/unload work preferred
