Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead the strategic supply chain for assigned categories near $100M in annual spend, driving supplier development, sourcing strategy, and cross-functional cost reduction initiatives. This role is responsible for supplier selection, performance management, and long-term development while optimizing quality, delivery, total cost, and cash flow. The position partners closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and market conditions. This is a high-impact role requiring both technical understanding and strong commercial acumen.

Responsibilities:
• Manage performance, development, and rationalization of the supply base across assigned categories
• Develop and execute category and commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business and market objectives
• Drive total cost reduction initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven analysis
• Identify, qualify, onboard, and develop new suppliers while improving performance of existing partners
• Lead contract negotiation and management including long-term agreements, pricing, and key commercial terms

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field with 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and category management within manufacturing
• Strong negotiation skills with experience managing supplier agreements and contracts end-to-end
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, supply analytics, and Microsoft Office tools

The base salary range for this position is $125,000–$150,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
