Job Description
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facility uptime. This role proactively identifies potential maintenance issues, prepares cost estimates, and ensures spare parts availability. The Maintenance Planner serves as a key liaison between maintenance, manufacturing, and purchasing teams while supporting the Facilities Manager. Strong organization, communication, and CMMS expertise are essential for success in this role.

· Analyze equipment and systems to identify failure points and proactively prevent downtime
· Coordinate spare parts, maintenance history records, work orders, and CMMS reporting
· Act as a liaison between maintenance, production, purchasing, and stockroom teams
· Support the Facilities Manager, adjust schedules for emergencies, and identify process improvement opportunities
· Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules for routine, preventative, and emergency work

Qualifications and Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED required; technical or maintenance-related degree/certification preferred
· 1–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar maintenance role preferred
· Proficiency with CMMS and general computer systems
· Ability to work autonomously, guide maintenance teams, and support extended work hours as needed

The base salary range for this position is approximately $52,000–$60,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
