Job Description
The Shot Blasting Operator will be responsible for blasting parts in a wheel blaster to prepare them for further processing. The role requires loading and unloading baskets into the blaster, conducting visual inspections, and using various equipment like an overhead crane and pallet jack. The operator will ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain cleanliness in the department. The position also involves working with computers to confirm parts and orders after operations are complete.

Responsibilities:
- Blast parts in a wheel blaster
- Load and unload parts into and out of the blaster
- Conduct visual inspections of parts and confirm orders using a computer
- Use overhead cranes and pallet jacks to move materials
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 15-40 lbs.
- Motivation and ability to meet job performance expectations
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to use fire extinguishers (training will be provided)

The base salary range for this position is $16/ hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
