Job Description
As a Logistics Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse and administrative operations. This position works closely with warehouse clerical staff, drivers, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include data entry, scheduling support, customer communication, and coordination of shipping activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse and shipping activities, including scheduling and load tracking
- Monitor inventory levels and track progress of outbound and inbound shipments
- Enter data accurately and complete time-sensitive reports
- Check drivers in and out, prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), and manage outbound documentation
- Obtain shipment details such as release numbers, destinations, and trailer information
- Assign dock doors and support shipping flow
- Provide professional customer service to customers, drivers, and visitors
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general correspondence
- Assist with customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Prepare customer delivery and activity reports by collecting and summarizing data
- Maintain organized records and active files related to orders and shipments
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service or clerical experience
- Strong computer and data entry skills with attention to accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office 365 preferred)
- Experience with warehouse or logistics systems is a plus (AS400 preferred)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

The base pay range for this position is $17-18/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
