Job Description
This role is responsible for the accounting, reporting, and analysis of fixed income and equity securities investment portfolios across affiliated entities and subsidiaries. The Senior Investment Accounting Analyst will actively contribute to the monthly financial close process and support the preparation and review of statutory schedules and investment-related reports.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly fixed maturity and equity securities accounting and reporting
- Responsible for journal entry activity and reconciliations
- Quarterly preparation of IMR and AVR calculations
- Work effectively to provide necessary information, reports and analysis for internal/external auditors, internal controls and tax specialist
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of monthly and annual NAIC rating process
- MS Excel experience
- CPA preferred, NOT required

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $110,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
