What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for prevailing wage compliance, ensuring payrolls meet all wage and apprenticeship requirements
- Review and audit certified payrolls and supporting documentation to catch issues early and keep projects on track
- Partner closely with contractors, internal teams, and regulators to resolve payroll and compliance questions
- Train and guide others on wage rules, reporting requirements, and best practices
- Create clear reports and recommendations that improve compliance processes and reduce risk
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in prevailing wage or labor compliance (construction, public works, or government contracting preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Davis-Bacon and state prevailing wage regulations
- Hands-on experience auditing certified payrolls and wage documentation
- Proven ability to work directly with contractors, internal teams, and regulators
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business, or a related field
