Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to manage daily accounts payable, internal overhead functions, and payroll processing. This role ensures timely and accurate transaction handling while supporting financial reporting, general ledger preparation, and budgeting. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting functions and contribute to process improvement across the finance team.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage semi-monthly payroll processing, ensuring all deductions are correctly applied
• Reconcile payroll with the general ledger and monthly bank statements
• Post customer payments and journal entries in the accounting system
• Assist with tax reporting, audits, and financial statement preparation

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years of financial accounting experience (experience in project services a plus)
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics or other ERP/project accounting systems preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Outlook
• Experience in the A/E/C or professional services industry is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
• 1–3 years of financial accounting experience (experience in project services a plus)
