Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support inventory control and materials management operations in a manufacturing environment in Burlington, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring materials are available for production. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or manufacturing inventory processes and strong organizational skills. This position plays a key role in supporting production efficiency and maintaining accurate inventory data.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, parts, and supplies
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and shipments
- Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to track material usage and replenishment
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (preferred)
- Experience using inventory tracking systems or ERP software is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
