Job Description:
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves diagnosing issues, fixing equipment fast, and keeping production moving? We’re hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a busy manufacturing environment with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment changeovers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment by following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical issues to reduce downtime and meet production needs.
- Identify root causes by observing equipment in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring/testing tools.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for all plant equipment.
- Support team continuity by documenting actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
- Help control downtime by training/informing production workers on routine PM techniques and monitoring compliance.
- Maintain an established comprehensive PM schedule on assigned equipment.
- Assist with equipment rebuilds and engineering projects.
- Perform timely equipment changeovers based on the production schedule.
- Assist operators with equipment setup to ensure correct and safe operation.
- Follow all safety practices and environmental rules; maintain a safe, clean work area.
- Support facility maintenance needs as required.
- Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required (Associate’s Degree a plus)
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Must provide your own hand tools to perform job duties
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Bilingual is a plus
- Ability to communicate in person and by phone
- Comfortable using a computer
- Ability to multitask effectively
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong troubleshooting knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulics
- Boiler and air compressor knowledge a plus (not required)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and wire 480V motors/equipment
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and other industrial hardware
- Welding/metal fabrication is a plus (not required)
Physical Requirements
- This is a physically demanding role requiring strenuous and sometimes repetitive work
- Ability to climb, lift, and perform active work throughout the day
- Ability to walk and carry a tool backpack

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $25-28.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
