Job Description
As a key member of the Human Resources Department, you will serve as a primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, support onboarding and payroll processes, and assist with employee relations and training coordination. Your ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, maintain accurate HR records, and stay current on labor laws will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Primary contact for all employee benefits administration, including insurance, 401k, FMLA, Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability.
- Supports the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
- Provide support as needed for employee relations including investigations and complaints and facilitate solutions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads and employees to liaison with training department on formalized training for disciplinary actions, succession planning, and other necessary trainings determined by HR and facility.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Benefits coordination, Payroll, Employee Engagement, Training, and/or Human Resources Generalist, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Payroll Administrator, or HR Specialist, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Effective communication in English (Korean a plus but not required.)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems, IE: UKG, Paycom, SAP, ADP, etc) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.

The base pay range for this position is $60,000–$90,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
