Job Description:
A major hospital network in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic support to senior leadership. The role includes advising on talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management, performance, engagement, and culture initiatives. Requires strong leadership, project management, and HR expertise, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels. This is an exempt, on-site position with standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator to senior leadership on HR strategy and business partnership.
- Provide guidance on change management, organizational effectiveness, work environment, and culture initiatives.
- Support talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Advise on employee relations, retention strategies, and leadership development programs.
- Implement and execute HR strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Build and enhance team effectiveness, fostering collaboration and strong communication.
- Manage and facilitate conflict resolution, group dynamics, and complex change processes.
- Perform process mapping, situational assessments, and objective evaluations of HR initiatives.
- Lead or support HR-related projects, ensuring milestones are tracked and objectives met.
- Communicate and present HR strategies, findings, and recommendations effectively to executives and teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10 years of HR Director or HR business/client management experience with expertise in strategic talent planning, engagement, retention, client relations, leadership development, culture transformation, and change management
- 5 years of people management experience
- Strong leadership, influence, and negotiation skills
- Ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels
- Excellent diagnostic, conceptual, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated implementation and execution capabilities
- Experience building team effectiveness
- Skilled in change management, conflict resolution, and group dynamics
- Strong process mapping, situational assessment, and evaluation abilities
- Strategic and systems thinking
- Project management skills
