Job Description
The General Laborer supports daily warehouse and production operations by handling materials, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining organized work areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Move freight, stock, and materials to and from storage or production areas by hand or using a forklift
- Load and unload materials at docks and designated work areas
- Sort cargo prior to loading and unloading
- Attach identifying tags to containers or clearly mark materials with identifying information
- Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine job assignments and material needs
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, health standards, and company policies
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Must understand Spanish; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial environment
