Job Description
Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States, is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing materials, organizing inventory, and safely transporting 20–40’ pipe using heavy-duty forklifts (25K+ capacity). The ideal candidate will have strong pipe yard experience and a focus on safety, organization, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty industrial forklifts (25K+ capacity) to move pipe and materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort, organize, and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing work areas
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors and managers
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of pipe yard and forklift experience
- Heavy equipment forklift experience—must have 25K+ capacity experience
- Experience moving 20–40’ pipe (carbon and stainless steel) preferred
- Valid Forklift Certification
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings

Base Pay Range: $37,440–$41,600 annually (excluding benefits, bonuses, or additional compensation). Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
