Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Landscaping Estimator to support a growing landscaping company specializing in residential and commercial projects. This role is responsible for evaluating project requirements, conducting site visits, and preparing accurate cost estimates for landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation work. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Meet with clients to review project needs and specifications
• Conduct site visits to take measurements and assess project scope
• Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and timelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan resources and project execution
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding scope, pricing, and expectations
• Adjust estimates based on client requests or site conditions

• Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of plants, materials, irrigation systems, and installation practices is a plus
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans or drawings
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

The base pay range for this position is $21-$26 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
