Job Description
- Develop, integrate, and support embedded hardware and firmware for new and existing products
- Design and analyze electronic circuits, signals, and systems
- Perform schematic capture and PCB-level design using Altium Designer
- Conduct circuit simulation and modeling using SPICE tools
- Support full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and sustaining improvements
- Troubleshoot hardware and system issues using standard electronic test equipment
- Develop and debug embedded firmware primarily in C/C++
- Partner with mechanical, manufacturing, software, and documentation teams to bring products to market
Responsibilities
- Design analog and digital electronic circuits including amplifiers, switches, regulators, filters, and I/O interfaces
- Perform hands-on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators
- Support embedded firmware development and debugging using ICE/JTAG tools
- Calculate voltage, current, and power requirements for electronic components and systems
- Participate in design reviews and present technical strategies to peers and leadership
- Select and evaluate electronic components for performance, cost, and manufacturability
- Support PCB assembly processes and integration into electro-mechanical systems
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited program required
- Strong foundation in AC/DC electrical theory and electronic circuit design
- Experience with PCB schematic capture tools (Altium preferred)
- Proficiency with circuit simulation using SPICE modeling
- Embedded firmware development experience in C/C++
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, ICE, and source-level debugging
- Strong hands-on lab skills and comfort with electronic test equipment

The base salary range for this position is $100K-$120K DOE, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
