Job Description
As a dye machine operator, you will have a significant impact on producing quality products for the apparel industry that provides performance solutions. You will safely operate and monitor machines following written work orders and oral instruction from department leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Operate textile dye machinery to dye various textiles
- Monitor machine operations for quality and production speeds
- Notify supervisors of any maintenance needs
- Load and unload materials into machinery
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior dye and finishing machine operating experience in textiles or manufacturing
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to analysis and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to interact effectively with management and co-workers
- Ability to operate motorized equipment (tuggers, forklift, pallet jacks)
- Ability to work in a hot environment
- Ability to walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 60 lbs
