Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Solutions who will be responsible for planning, reviewing, and overseeing all activities of the Clinical Solutions department in support of our clients mission, values, and strategic objectives. This role provides ongoing managerial, technical, and motivational leadership to ensure the efficient, effective, and consistent delivery of high-quality clinical information system services across a large, complex healthcare environment
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and control all functions and activities of the Clinical Solutions department
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to managers, technical staff, and project teams
- Support IT Managers and teams by balancing execution, accountability, and team morale
- Partner closely with clinical, business, ISD, and vendor stakeholders to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Co-create strategic priorities and translate them into clear, actionable roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
- Lead teams through change, optimization, and stabilization efforts in a dynamic healthcare environment
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality clinical application services across enterprise systems
- Demonstrate strong technical judgment, complex problem-solving skills, and project leadership
- Promote a positive, solutions-oriented culture grounded in collaboration, compassion, respect, and service excellence
- The Director may oversee strategy and execution across one or more of the following domains:
- Population Health
- Interoperability
- Care & Case Management
- Patient Experience
- Post-Acute or Advanced Care at Home
- Outpatient Rehabilitation (SMR)
- Community Benefits, Research, or Genomics
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a clinical discipline, or a related field
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing large, complex corporate Information Systems
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and complex projects in a healthcare IT environment
- Working knowledge of enterprise computing strategies, including mainframe, minicomputer, and microcomputer systems
- Advanced application programming knowledge and familiarity with development tools and methodologies
- In-depth technical expertise with strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities
- Experience mentoring and developing team members
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Epic or other EHR platforms strongly preferred

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
