Job Description
Responsibilities
- Operate digital print production equipment to produce high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced environment
- Perform bindery tasks including folding, stitching, trimming, and shrink wrapping to meet customer and production standards
- Verify job specifications and ensure correct file setup, naming conventions, and output requirements prior to production
- Monitor production runs for quality control, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and report major concerns to leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, production, and workflow procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Print Production Experience: Familiarity with print-on-demand workflow, file transfers, and printing processes
- Bindery Operations: Experience with folding, stitching, trimming, and shrink wrapping
- Machine Operation: Hands-on experience with digital presses, knives, folders, and shrink wrap equipment
- Basic Graphic/File Setup Knowledge: Understanding file properties, setup, and naming conventions
- Software Familiarity: Experience with imposition software and digital workflow systems
