Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Customer Solutions Engineer Manager to support metal building system projects by providing technical expertise and customer-focused solutions. This role acts as a key liaison between sales, engineering, and customers to develop competitive, code-compliant building designs. The Sales Engineer will translate complex technical requirements into practical, cost-effective solutions while supporting estimating, pricing, and project feasibility. This position is ideal for a collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across teams to deliver value-added solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance and develop metal building solutions aligned with customer needs, codes, and company standards
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and specifications based on project requirements
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, estimating, and project management teams to ensure successful execution
• Identify cost, constructability, and design trade-offs early in the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, and customers to drive business growth

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 7–10+ years of experience in the metal building industry or related technical sales role
• Strong knowledge of metal building systems, structural components, and construction processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications

The base salary range for this position is $110,000–$140,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
