Job Description
This Customer Service Representative position responds to customers by phone and email in a fast-paced environment. The role handles a high volume of inbound calls using a multi-line phone system while supporting orders, substitutions and credits. Candidates with prior call center or office customer service experience and strong computer skills will be successful in this role.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer requests for orders, substitutions, pick-up requests and return credits using phone, email and other technology tools
- Provide customer support for special requests and day-to-day service needs
- Assist various departments in the Distribution Center and complete other duties as assigned
- Work with local customers and residents; no relocation is offered for this position
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 6 months of data entry experience in a demanding customer service or call center environment required
- Ability to work with customers daily by phone and/or in person
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and team collaboration skills
- Excellent computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass a post-offer background check and drug test
- Preferred: 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience, ideally in the foodservice industry, plus Cisco or multi-line phone system experience
