Job Description:
A commercial construction firm is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field execution on healthcare and institutional projects in the Omaha region. This position owns jobsite planning, subcontractor coordination, schedule execution, safety leadership, and quality control—ensuring work is completed in accordance with contract documents and client expectations.
The Superintendent will partner closely with the Project Manager to maintain momentum on the CPM schedule, drive short-interval planning, and document scope changes and field conditions to support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day jobsite execution including planning, logistics, and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain field documentation (daily reports, safety audits, and project photo documentation)
• Drive schedule performance by developing weekly short-interval plans and supporting CPM updates with the PM
• Own jobsite safety performance and ensure compliance across all trades and partners
• Document and communicate scope changes, RFIs, unforeseen conditions, and additional work as needed
• Maintain field documentation (daily reports, safety audits, and project photo documentation)

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 8+ years of construction management / superintendent experience on commercial or institutional projects
• Healthcare project experience strongly preferred (law enforcement experience also a plus)
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and coordinate multiple trades effectively
• Confident communicator with owners, designers, government officials, subcontractors, and vendors
• Healthcare project experience strongly preferred (law enforcement experience also a plus)
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and coordinate multiple trades effectively

• Proven success with client satisfaction follow-through and punch/closeout execution
• Familiarity with both owner and subcontractor contract requirements
• Experience building and enforcing short-interval schedules with multiple subcontractor crews
• Local knowledge of the Omaha-area subcontractor market
