Job Description
The Onsite QC Coordinator conducts quality control activities and supports established inspection procedures on mechanical project jobsites. This role inspects and evaluates received and installed equipment/materials to ensure compliance with job specifications and Customer quality standards. The OQCC documents findings, rejects non-conforming items, and helps drive corrective actions to protect project quality from start to turnover.

Responsibilities
Quality Assurance / Quality Control
• Review and understand job specifications, drawings (flow diagrams, boundaries, etc.), and submittals for all quality-related scopes.
• Implement the QC Plan for assigned projects.
• Perform receiving inspections of materials and equipment.
• Verify major equipment component compliance per approved submittals.
• Witness welding QA procedures, ensuring documentation is current (WPS, PQR, weld logs, travelers, stamps).
• Oversee installation of mechanical scopes, including subcontractor work.
• Verify mechanical testing, flushing, and cleaning are executed per contract requirements.
• Implement non-conformance and corrective action programs.
• Maintain turnover documentation throughout the project (hard copy and digital).

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is strongly preferred.
