Job Description
As a CNC operator, also known as a CNC machinist, you will operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to design, create, and maintain parts and tools. You will also complete production and quality logs to document actions and work with designers, programmers and engineers to produce precise parts.
Responsibilities:
- Load raw materials, set up tools, and run production for milling, lathing, or grinding machines
- Read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work orders.
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy
- Adjust machine offsets, speeds, and feeds to correct errors and optimize performance.
- Check parts to ensure machine-related mistakes or flaws do not exist.
- Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, oiling) and strictly adhere to safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent CNC machine operating experience
- Manual Dexterity
- Basic reading skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds
- Attention to detail & problem solving skills
- Basic mechanical & computer operations
- Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screen

Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
