Job Description
As a CNC Lathe, CNC Milling Set-up Machinist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting production goals and machining high-precision parts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with experience in both CNC turning and CNC milling, and setting up the equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts and components.
- Machine a variety of materials to close tolerances per blueprint specifications
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years CNC Set-up, CNC Mills, and CNC lathes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, micrometers, and a ruler to produce parts.
- Be familiar with different alloy materials and the tooling, speeds, and feeds required for machining the different alloys
- Possess the math skills to calculate angles, bolt circles, and any other equations required to accomplish machining tasks
- Have own tools that accommodate setup, deburring, tool changing, and measuring for all phases of operation.

The base salary range for this position is $25.00-$30.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
