Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Operator for 2nd shift to run large MAZAK machining centers (multi-axis, up to 5-axis) and support production on manual machines when needed. You’ll set up, operate, and make in-process adjustments, read blueprints with confidence, and work safely around overhead cranes for part moves. Strong CNC setup experience, the ability to edit at the control (M/G code and conversational), and a quality-first mindset are essential. Aerospace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate large multi-axis CNC machines (MAZAK) and support manual lathes/mills as needed
• Read/interpret blueprints, op sheets, and work instructions; verify dimensions and tolerances during production
• Adjust work/tool offsets, change tooling per tool sheets, and monitor tool life to maintain quality and takt time
• Perform in-process inspection with micrometers/indicators; document results and part counts
• Manage coolant/refract levels; clear chips and keep machines/area clean; complete basic PM on assigned equipment
• Safely use overhead cranes to load/unload large parts; support continuous improvement and safe work practices
