CNC Machinist
$25.00 to $30.00/hour based on experience.

Introduction Statement:
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join the client’s company. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations and offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team environment. Reporting to the Production Operations Manager, the CNC Machinist will play a key role in executing machining tasks efficiently and accurately within our production department.
Responsibilities:
- Review Bills of Materials, Parts Orders, and MFG lists daily to determine job priorities.
- Drive improvements in tools and processes to benefit the specific department and overall production operations.
- Select proper cutters and drills based on job parameters and monitor machining progress, inspecting finished work for accuracy.
- Perform daily maintenance of the machine and work area, including checking coolant and weigh lube levels, emptying chip barrels, disposing of scrap material, and organizing tools.
- Read and respond to emails about machining job functions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma. Additional certifications such as CNC Mill/Lathe operation courses are highly preferred.
- 4+ years of experience running CNC Mill/Lathe, including setups and programming, are desired.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance, committed to safe machinery operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and models, and analyze plans for proper use, familiarity with design techniques and principles.
- Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask, essential for juggling multiple tasks and work areas simultaneously.
