Job Description
Join a reputable global diabetes care company as a Calibration Technician and help make a real difference in people’s lives. The role is accountable for supporting new product development and/or product sustaining activities by specializing in measurements, calibration, and qualified analytical equipment, You will also write reviews and approvals of related documentation that coordinates with vendors on contracts and scheduling for calibration and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the plant on assigned product initiatives with technical expertise and determine associated resource needs to accomplish project goals
- Lead and supervise hourly Calibration & Metrology Technicians
- Ensure that applicable facilities, laboratory equipment, utility systems and process equipment are validated, calibrated, and documented
- Direct day-to-day operations of measurement & calibration services
- Direct operations and technical services to minimize downtime of plant calibration & measurement equipment
- Ensuring appropriate training and certification of Metrology personnel on procedures and equipment
- Forecast project requirements
- Communicate effectively to management across departments and staff goals, priorities and policy
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS Degree or 5+ years’ experience in Metrology in Manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
- 2+ years' manufacturing experience.
- Expertise in precision measurement.
- Must be knowledgeable with FDA cGMP and related regulations and guidelines.
- Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000-85,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
