Job Description
The Budget and Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the purchases and monitoring the budget activities of the Counties Grants and Nonprofit department.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Oversight: Oversee the purchasing process, including the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring compliance with county policies and procedures.
- Track and monitor departmental expenditure, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and identifying any variances.
- Utilize Qualtrics for survey creation, distribution, and data analysis, track and monitor purchase orders to support departmental projects and initiatives.
- Serve as a point of contact for facilitation and training internal stakeholders on grant and nonprofit process and systems including Qualtrics surveys, budget and spend plans.
- Generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical financial records, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage of important documents.
- Will train and facilitate internal stakeholders on financial processes and systems. Maybe required to work weekends if necessary
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in budgeting and purchasing management, generating and analyzing financial reports in a nonprofit government setting.
- Must be proficient in using financial management tools and software, including Qualtrics for survey creation.

The base pay range for this position is $22.50, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
