Job Description
This role supports a small, collaborative accounting team within a fast-moving online retail environment that manages inventory and fulfillment for corporate award and incentive programs. As the Bookkeeper, you will handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities including AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and state and federal tax filing. You will work onsite, collaborating closely with leadership and contributing to the daily financial operations of the organization. This position offers long-term stability and the opportunity to advance quickly into a Controller role for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and leadership. A detail-oriented mindset, calm demeanor, and flexibility with team interactions are key to success.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare financial reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, and monthly financial summaries
- Process and maintain records for state and federal tax filings
- Collaborate with internal payroll staff to ensure payroll accuracy (payroll is processed internally)
- Support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and professionally
- Experience working with custom or proprietary accounting systems preferred
- Understanding of inventory flow or operational processes is helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
