Job Description
This critical weekend role supports refinishing production by ensuring all quality and specification standards are met. The Blast Operator is responsible for the operation and control of sand blasting and washing equipment used to prepare golf balls for stamping and spraying. This position requires attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and coordination with production teams to meet daily output goals.
Responsibilities
- Inspect golf balls before and after pressure blasting to ensure quality standards
- Sort, verify, and label golf balls by category
- Operate and maintain sand blasting and washing equipment
- Perform media checks, mix batches, manage inventory, and recharge media as needed
- Communicate and document daily production on batch sheets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs consistently
- Experience operating industrial or production equipment preferred
- Understanding of safety procedures related to blasting equipment
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack
- Willingness to assist with minor refinishing maintenance as needed
