Job Description
As a Bilingual Sample Finisher, you’ll operate various machines to create new leather products based on customer requests. You’ll mix formulas, apply finishes using stamping, roll coat, or spray methods, and document all steps for reproducibility. The role includes inspecting hides, identifying imperfections, and floating between departments as needed. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position requiring physical stamina and a strong work ethic. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Create and apply leather finishes using Tonboni, Roll Coat, and Spray line machines
- Develop sample formulas and record specifications
- Monitor hides for quality and imperfections during processing
- Restack hides and float between work areas based on production needs
- Perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Ability to color match, measure accurately, and perform basic math
- Must be at least 18 and able to lift, bend, squat, and stand for full shifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or on a team

The base salary range for this position is $18/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
