Job Description
Join a respected full-service accounting firm serving clients across the Council Bluffs and Omaha metro area who specializes in delivering personalized audit, tax, and advisory services with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and client success. As the Audit Manager, you will lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. This role involves overseeing audit teams, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and delivering high-quality results with strategic insights.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead audit engagements for clients across various industries
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff
- Ensure all audit work meets professional and regulatory standards
- Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients and firm leadership
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
- Stay up to date on evolving audit standards, laws, and best practices
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active CPA license – Iowa & Nebraska
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on audit
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 – $120,000, excluding bonuses or additional compensation. Final compensation will be based on your experience, qualifications, skillset, location, and internal pay equity.
