Job Description
The Administrative Support role provides essential support for eCommerce operations, marketing, and customer engagement. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with account setup, onboarding, and troubleshooting while ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. The role also supports internal teams and management by handling data entry, reporting, calendar and inbox management, and coordinating with vendors, warehouses, and other departments. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, tech-savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities across systems and teams while maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with customer account setup, onboarding, and activation using ERP, CMS, and other systems
- Serve as first point of contact for customer inquiries, troubleshooting basic issues and escalating as needed
- Handle customer order inquiries, changes, and cancellations, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Conduct outbound calls to support registration, orders, and general customer check-ins
- Provide website support, including onboarding sessions, webinars, and guidance to ensure customer adoption
- Support the Director of eCommerce by managing shared inboxes, calendars, and internal or external inquiries
- Maintain, update, and audit customer account data for accuracy across systems
- Prepare reports, perform data entry, and summarize operational metrics
- Assist with organizing and maintaining website content, product data, and internal documentation
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and other departments as needed
- Support marketing, operations, and training materials for customers and staff
- Perform general administrative duties, including phone reception, as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative or customer support roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable handling high volumes of email and phone interactions, both inbound and outbound
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Experience with ERP, CRM, CMS, or other web-based business systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable learning new technologies and supporting cross-departmental tasks

The base pay range for this position is $22-$24/hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
