Job Description
Join a detail-driven accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist where accuracy and efficiency are key. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring timely payments, proper coding, and compliance with tax regulations while supporting smooth financial operations.
Join a detail-driven accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist where accuracy and efficiency are key. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring timely payments, proper coding, and compliance with tax regulations while supporting smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring correct sales and use tax application
- Assign invoices to appropriate categories and general ledger accounts
- Reconcile company credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Process weekly payments through checks and ACH while maintaining accurate records
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Solid understanding of sales and use tax regulations, with strong analytical abilities
