Job Description
A growing, mission-driven organization is hiring an Accounting Specialist to support multiple operating entities. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who values accuracy, teamwork, and meaningful work over titles or fast promotions.

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and internal partners to maintain accurate financial records, support day-to-day accounting operations, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. This position offers meaningful variety, responsibility, and long-term stability within a small, collaborative accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable end-to-end, including invoice review, auditing, and check preparation (primary focus)
- Handle accounts receivable activities, reconciliations, and aging across multiple entities
- Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany accounting support
- Maintain accurate financial records and support audits, controls, and reporting
- Help improve accounting processes and drive automation, with strong Excel involvement
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (preferred over Bachelor’s)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, with strong AP background
- Experience with intercompany and multi-entity accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Team-first mindset with high integrity, attention to detail, and kindness
