Job Description
This Accounting Assistant position will assist with business office responsibilities in Accounts Receivables, Payables, bookkeeping, reconciliation, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounting records by reconciling monthly statements
- Assist in monthly billing statements based on general ledger
- Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments related to A/R
- Receive and verify expense reports
- Work with vendors on payments, purchase orders, discrepancies, collections
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Business or Accounting degree preferred
- 3 years previous experience in a similar accounting role is required
- Prior working experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks, as well as accounting software skill-test
