Accounting Analyst I

· Competitive pay of $26–$32 per hour

An oil and gas company on the northwest side of Houston is seeking an Accounting Analyst I to support owner relations and accounting inquiries. This role is responsible for responding to owner calls and emails, researching account history, and assisting with questions related to payments and transfers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating financial information clearly to external stakeholders.

· Respond to phone and email inquiries from oil and gas well owners regarding payments received or not received

· Respond to emails assigned through LandVantage

· Research and resolve questions related to checks, transfers, and owner account history

· Void checks as needed and document actions appropriately

· Maintain an accurate deposit tracking spreadsheet

· Manage inventory of check stock and envelope stock

· Provide clear and professional communication to owners regarding their accounts

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

· Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial and account information clearly

· Ability to learn new software and systems quickly

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills

· Pay rate: $26–$32 per hour

The base pay range for this position is $26–$32 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
