Job Description
As a Mill Setup Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to support production needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical ability, and the skill to maintain equipment while parts are in process. The ideal candidate is dependable, career-minded, and experienced in working with CNC mills in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC milling machines for production runs based on work instructions & blueprints
- Load materials, change tooling, and verify proper machine operation before and during runs
- Monitor parts in process to ensure quality and accurate specifications
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience operating and setting up CNC mills
- Strong computer, technical, and machine interface skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Career-minded attitude and willingness to learn and grow
