Job Description
Join a high-precision job shop specializing in aerospace, medical, and defense components as a CNC Grinder on the 2nd shift. This is a hands-on role ideal for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in quality and craftsmanship. You’ll be working in a clean, climate-controlled environment, producing tight-tolerance, low-volume parts on world-class CNC OD/ID grinding equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC OD/ID grinders
- Interpret blueprints and process sheets to machine to exact tolerances
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Collaborate with a small, skilled team to produce high-precision parts
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in CNC OD/ID grinding with the ability to hold tolerances within .0002"
- Proficiency with micrometers, bore gauges, and comparators
- Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering blueprints
- Manual grinding experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

The base salary range for this position is $20-25/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
